Caring for your Pet Rock

Pet rocks are very similar to normal pets, but they require much less maintenance. The only requirement on your part in caring for your pet rock is love; however, for those who wish to provide a more fulfilling life for their pt Rock, below is a short manuel in which you will find basic caret rock, please refer to the basic caring techniques, training and bonding tips listed below.

Pet Rocks do not require much care; however, to make your pet rock's life more enjoyable and fulfilling, we suggest you follow these guidelines:

• Bathing. Pet rocks should be bathed at least twice a year, depending on the amount of coffee and fast food spilt on them. Pet rocks can be bathed by gently scrubbing them with a damp face cloth. Important tip - Make sure your pet rock is made with waterproof paint before bathing!
• Living Quarters. For most, a clean space on top of a bedside table is fine; however, a pet rock's favorite place is in a shoe box with a padded bottom, equipped with some homely decor and a chair or bed to rest in.
• Traveling. Pet rocks love to travel. Simply tote them around in a purse or laptop case.

Training

There are a few simple training techniques that if followed, will ensure that you have the best behaved pet rock around. Each trick is simple, but best results will be achieved if good behaviour is paired with a short cuddle or appraisal.

• Sit and Stay. Set your rock down on a hard flat surface, say the command "Sit" in a stern voice, and slowly back away from your pet rock while saying the command "Stay." You'll amazed how quickly they learn this trick! be amazed how quickly they learn this trick!
• Freeze. Simply stop what you are doing, turn to your pet rock, point and say the command "Freeze." With some practice, your pet rock will master this trick brilliantly.
• Play Dead. Lie your rock down and command "Play Dead." This one is surely a crows pleaser.

Bonding

By celebrating such events as your pet rock's birthday, Christmas, Easter, National Holidays, etc., your pet rock will develop a strong and meaningful bond with you. Pet rocks need to feel loved, and by showing them how much they mean to you through simple celebrations, an unbreakable bond is created.

Pet rocks also love the outdoors, so whether it be quality time at the park/playground, or sun tanning in the backyard, enjoy some outdoor time with your pet rock as often as possible.Your pet rock is sure to be the happiest pet rock on the block!
